Tim Miller Directs “Gravel” Adaptation

Tim Miller is set to direct a live action adaptation of the Warren Ellis comic “Gravel” at Legendary Pictures at Deadline.

The story revolves around the character William Gravel, a soldier in the British S.A.S. who uses his skills in dark magic to moonlight and battle supernatural beings for clients in order to make some extra cash.

Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell are writing the script while Rick Alexander will produce. Miller, who was previously hired to direct “X-Men Origins: Deadpool” for Fox, owns Blur Studio which most recently created the title sequence for David Fincher’s “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”.
