Jennifer Tilly, Lee Pace, Justin Kirk, Ben Levin, Jason Day and Thomas Sadoski have joined the cast of the indie drama “30 Beats” says the trades.
Inspired by Arthur Schnitzler’s classic play “La Ronde,” “Beats” explores a series of amorous encounters among ten people in Manhattan and will feature an international ensemble cast connected in a merry-go-round of love and sexual attraction.
Tilly plays a psychic who engages in weekly sexual encounters with a free-spirited Cuban messenger (Day). Sadoski is playing a political speechwriter whose personal life involves encounters with an actress (Vahina Giocante) and a dominatrix (Ingeborga Dapkunaite).
Paz de la Huerta and Condola Rashad also star. Former Pathe U.K. head Alexis Lloyd penned and will direct the project which is currently in production in New York and wraps this week. Molly Connors and Carl Ford are producing.
