Ciaran Hinds is attached while Tilda Swinton is being sought for the Northern Irish drama “Sisters” for Cineman Films says The Hollywood Reporter.
Set in 1960s West Belfast, this follows an Irish mother, feminist, activist and nun who lands at a school and changes thousands of deprived kids’ lives around with her skills as a teacher.
The tone is said to be akin to “Dead Poets Society” meets “Sister Act”. Terry Loane directs from a script by Ronan Blaney. Noel Qualter produces and shooting kicks off in the Fall.
