“Step Up 2 the Streets” star Briana Evigan has landed the lead role in Sobini Films’ animal thriller “Burning Bright” reports the trades.
Evigan will play a young woman and her autistic brother who find a ravenous tiger roaming through her home during a hurricane.
With her stepfather nowhere to be found, the pair must race through the house in a desperate attempt at survival.
Carlos Brooks (“Quid Pro Quo”) will direct from a script by Christine Coyle Johnson and Julie Prendiville Roux.
Shooting begins July 14th in Florida for release next year, likely through Lionsgate.
