“Thrones” S7 Finale Is Longest Episode To Date

HBO has confirmed that this Sunday’s seventh season finale of its big-budget fantasy drama “Game of Thrones” will be the longest episode in the series’ history to date.

Titled “The Dragon and the Wolf,” the episode is set to clock in at a near feature-length 79 minutes and 43 seconds.

The finale puts the focus on a meeting between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen with Queen Cersei Lannister to discuss how to deal with the imminent threat of a White Walker invasion.

Fans have already begun speculating about the title and how the true lineage of Jon Snow may come out as part of a plot point and potentially drive a wedge between blossoming allies.
