“Thrones” Is The ‘Most Binge-Able’ Series

HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” AMC’s “Breaking Bad” and ITV’s “Downton Abbey” have been named as the three most binge-able TV box sets of all time in a new study conducted by Samsung UK which surveyed around 2,000 adults.

The research found 44% of adults say they now prefer to watch TV ‘on demand’ and one in five agree they watch more TV series now than they did five years ago. Also one in five admit they ‘box set binge’ more regularly, and an equal number like to watch their favourite shows over and over again.

As it’s a UK list there’s some interesting inclusions not seen in U.S. lists of the sort, most notably the period crime drama “Peaky Blinders” and the spy thriller series “Spooks” (aka. “MI-5”) which both made the Top 19, along with some shows a good several years on from their wrap ups.
