Isabel Moner, David Castaneda and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo have all joined the cast of “Soldado,” the follow-up to 2015’s “Sicario” at Lionsgate and Black Label Media.
Stefano Sollima is directing, Taylor Sheridan returns to pen the script, and both Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin are reprising their roles. In this one they try to provoke a war with the Sonoran drug cartel by kidnapping Isabel Reyes (Moner), the daughter of the cartel’s top gangster (Garcia-Rulfo).
Castaneda’s role is unknown at this time, while Catherine Keener also stars. Basil Iwanyk, Edward McDonnell, Molly Smith and Thad and Trent Luckinbill are producing
