Lionsgate’s adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ “The Hunger Games” trilogy is filling out its cast fast with three more names joining the production today says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story chronicles Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and her defiant struggle to survive in a future dystopia where The Capitol requires its twelve subjugated districts to atone for their onetime insurrection through the annual “Hunger Games,” a fight-to-the-death event held in a fantastical man made arena.
Jack Quaid and Leven Rambin have respectively been set to play District 1 tributes Marvel and Glimmer.
Meanwhile Willow Shields will play Prim Everdeen, the sister of Katniss. Primrose is initially selected to fight as one of District 12’s tributes and Katniss volunteers to take her sister’s place.
