FX’s “American Horror Story: Freak Show” is about to score three new faces, two of which you will find very familiar. First up, Neil Patrick Harris and his real-life husband David Burtka are hopping onboard for the last few episodes of the show’s run says TV Line.
Harris play a salesman with chameleonic skills in the final two episodes of the run of ‘Freak Show’. Burtka will have a role in the season finale, but the only specifics revealed are that he shares a sexy scene with Jessica Lange.
The pair were previously invited to play a gay couple on the show back during the first season but had to decline. Those roles eventually went to “Star Trek” star Zachary Quinto and “Masters of Sex” actor Teddy Sears.
Meanwhile series regular Lily Rabe is returning to the show, but this time she won’t be playing a new character. EW reports that Rabe will reprise her role of Sister Mary Eunice from the show’s second season ‘Asylum’.
Rabe will film her brief appearance this weekend, with her on screen appearance to take place during the show’s tenth episode. Continuity wise ‘Freak’ takes place before ‘Asylum’, and the episode will show how Pepper (Naomi Grossman) was committed to Briarcliff Manor.
