Third “Ring” Film Pushed Back To 2016

Announced earlier this year, the upcoming second follow-up to 2002’s supernatural horror tale “The Ring” has been pushed back several months.

Johnny Galecki, Alex Roe and Matilda Lutz star in the F. Javier Gutierrez-helmed project entitled “Rings” which was to open November 13th but will instead hit sometime in the first quarter of 2016. The project was shot this Spring and is currently in post-production.

The film is said to be something of a ‘refresh’/’restart’ in that it follows new characters and is set in the present day, but retains the same continuity established by the first two films.
