Disney and Walden Media’s “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” will move its shoot to Mexico reports Variety.
The production requires several large soundstages plus a massive water tank, thus filming will now take place in Baja Studios where “Titanic,” “Deep Blue Sea” and “Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World” were shot.
The previous two ‘Narnia’ flicks were shot mostly in New Zealand (additional photograpy took place in Prague). Location shots in Australia for ‘Treader’ will still be filmed as planned.
Shooting, originally slated for October, will now commence in January.
