Filmmaker Zack Snyder has confirmed in an interview with 411 Mania that the new trailer for his upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” film, the third following the first teaser in April and the Comic-Con Trailer (and its cut-down version) in July, will hit soon.
Last month came rumors that the preview would be attached to the premiere of “Supergirl” on CBS tonight and on an episode of “Gotham” also tonight, but there’s been no confirmation of either of those. Warners has several key films out before the end of the year that could include the trailer release with the most likely being “Creed” on November 25th or “In the Heart of the Sea” on December 11th.
In the same interview, Snyder also talked about the new Batmobile in the film and how it was built with function in mind:
“You know it has all the kind of fun stuff. It has the countermeasures – we always talk about the countermeasures because people are like, ‘What the heck is countermeasures?’ You know if I shot a missile at it, flares would pop out of those holes and stop the missile from hitting it. So that’s fun.
It’s got this crazy gun [on the front part of the vehicle]. It’s super-fast. It’s electrified. It can do all the other Bat-car stuff. But the cool thing I liked about it is that it’s a purpose built Batmobile, right? Which is kind of fun to get back to that.”
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” opens March 25th 2016.
