20th Century Fox has released yet another new photo from Ridley Scott’s “Alien: Covenant,” this one featuring the aftermath of a bloody encounter in med-lab. Once again, like most of the new images released this week, a new cryptic number has been included – ‘224612072104’.
Also out is a low-res scan from fansite Alien-Covenant. The scan is from Empire magazine and includes two photos – one with Katherine Waterston and director Ridley Scott, the other with Michael Fassbender and Carmen Ejogo.
Set as the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with “Prometheus,” “Alien: Covenant” connects directly to Ridley Scott’s 1979 seminal “Alien” and begins with the colony ship Covenant discovering a dark, dangerous world whose sole inhabitant is the ‘synthetic’ David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
“Alien: Covenant” hits cinemas on May 19th. The first trailer, which runs 2 minutes and 3 seconds, is slated to go online in the next few days.
