Charlize Theron is set to produce and star in a film version of Christopher Buckley’s satirical novel “Florence of Arabia” for her own Denver and Delilah Films says The Examiner.
The story is about an employee of the State Department whose friend marries a Middle-Eastern prince. When her friend is subsequently executed, the State Dept. employee launches on a campaign to help improve conditions for women in that country
Dean Craig will pen the script. Buckley is also the author of “Thank You for Smoking”.
