Following a tease on Wednesday night, “Victor Frankenstein” and “Chronicle” screenwriter Max Landis has shot down suggestions that he’s at work on remake of his father John Landis’ cinematic classic “An American Werewolf in London”.
On Wednesday Landis tweeted: “There’s only one of my dad’s movies I’d ever be willing to try to remake and I’m already doing it”. Bloody Disgusting made the link, and other tweets Landis had put out a few months ago suggested the possibility.
That changed a few hours ago when Landis was asked about the report to which he said: “I categorically deny any rumors about upcoming projects printed today.” He followed up with a straight “Deny” when asked directly about the BD story.
John Landis helmed numerous famous films over his career including comedy classics “The Blues Brothers,” “Trading Places, “Three Amigos!” and “Coming to America”.
