NBC’s upcoming revival of its hit sitcom “Will and Grace” has expanded upon its original episode order. Originally slated to run for ten episodes, the number has now been increased to twelve.
The return of Will, Grace, Jack and Karen (Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally respectively) began production early last month and followed on from a ten-minute scene filmed during the Presidential election back in September.
Original series creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan will act as showrunners and executive producers while legendary director James Burrows, who directed every episode of the show during its initial eight-year run, is helming and executive producing.
The original series ran from 1998 to 2006 and pulled in more than eighteen million viewers for its series finale along with 16 Emmy wins and 83 nominations.
