The Weinstein Company has locked down the schedule for seven of its upcoming features, effectively setting up their film slate for the next year.
Three projects look to be shaping up for possible awards glory. Simon Curtis’ “My Week with Marilyn” starring Michelle Williams, Kenneth Branagh and Judi Dench will hit November 4th,,
In December comes Ralph Fiennes’ modern era-set take on Shakespeare’s “Coriolanus” on December 2nd, and Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher in “The Iron Lady” on December 16th.
There’s also Lee Hirsch’s documentary “The Bully Project” on November 11th, and Michel Hazanavicius’s French romance film “The Artist” on November 23rd.
Finally there’s the inevitable sequels “Scary Movie 5” on April 20th 2012 and “Halloween 3D” on October 26th 2012.
All these additions come on top of their already scheduled 2011 films “Apollo 18” on September 2nd and “Piranha 3DD” on November 23rd.
