The Transporter Legacy Set For March 2015

The first in the upcoming proposed prequel trilogy to EuropaCorp’s “Transporter” franchise has scored a March 6th 2015 release date in the United States.

Former “Game of Thrones” actor Ed Skrein plays a younger version of Jason Statham’s Frank Martin, an ex-special forces type who will transport anything for a price and follows a very strict code.

Entitled “The Transporter Legacy,” Camille Delamarre (“Brick Mansions”) helms the French underworld-set film in which Frank crosses paths with Anna (Loan Chabanol), a crime boss who decides Frank is the man to take down a group of ruthless Russian human traffickers.

Anna takes Frank’s father (Ray Stevenson) as leverage to ensure his cooperation and both of them are forced to work with Anna to bring the villains to justice.

Radivoje Bukvic, Gabriella Wright, Anatole Taubman and Tatiana Pajkovic also star. Bill Collage and Adam Cooper (“Exodus: Gods and Kings”) penned the script.
