The “Timeless” Finale Airs In December?

The Timeless Telemovie Airs In December

Following the announcement a few weeks ago that NBC plans to bring back its recently cancelled series “Timeless,” for a two-part series finale, a rough schedule has been revealed which indicates the episodes will be shot in October and go to air in December.

Shawn Ryan (“The Shield”) and Eric Kripke (“Supernatural’) created the series which follows Rufus (Malcolm Barrett), a scientist; Wyatt (Matt Lanter), a soldier; and Lucy (Abigail Spencer), a history professor, who attempt to prevent the destruction of our world as we all know it by an organisation known as Rittenhouse who is using time travel to manipulate history.

The telemovie will allow a resolution of the cliffhanger at the end of the second season and offer a proper conclusion to the story. The first hour is being written by Lauren Greer, the second by Arika Lisanne with both parts helmed by TV veteran John Showalter who has directed four past episodes of the series.
