The “Tangled” TV Series Gets A Trailer

Disney Channel has premiered the teaser trailer for the TV series based on Disney’s popular animated film “Tangled” due for release in 2017. Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi reprise their roles of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.

They’re joined by returnees Jeffrey Tambor as Big Nose, Paul F. Tompkins as Shorty and M.C. Gainey as Captain of the Guards along with fan-favorite characters like chameleon sidekick Pascal and expressive horse Maximus.

New to their adventures are Ashley Judd as Rapunzel’s mother Queen Arianna, Clancy Brown as Rapunzel’s father King Frederic, Eden Espinosa as Rapunzel’s handmaiden Cassandra, comedian Jeff Ross as Hook Hand’s brother Hook Foot, Richard Kind as Uncle Monty, Sean Hayes as Pete the Guard, Peter MacNicol as Nigel the Advisor, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as blacksmith Xavier, Diedrich Bader as Stan the Guard, Jeremy Jordan as teen alchemist Varian, Jonathan Banks as Varian’s father Quirin, James Monroe Iglehart as Flynn’s friend Lance Strongbow, and Charles Halford and Steve Blum as pub thugs Vladimir and Attila Buckethead.

Set to take place in between events of the feature film and the 2012 short film “Tangled Ever After” with plenty of adventures that Rapunzel and Eugene got up to in the time in-between covered here. Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater will compose all new songs for the series.
