Raja Gosnell is onboard to the direct the film adaptation of Rhonda Byrne’s 2006 best-selling novel “The Secret” at Constantin Film and Robert Cort Productions.
The self-help book sold upwards of 28 million copies and suggests that the power of positive thinking can change peoples’ lives for the better. Playwright Bekah Brunstetter adapted the script for the film.
The original narrative will center on a hard-working, young widowed mother whose life is upended by the arrival of a mysterious stranger. As he shares his philosophy with her and her three children, they find both self-fulfillment and love.
Robert Cort is producing, and shooting is aiming to kick off in May.
