An apparent description of the opening 20 minutes or so of the third “Spider-Man”.

-A journalist for L’HEBDO CINEMA who saw “Sunshine” says “it is a ‘contemplative’ movie, something between “Solaris” and “Silent Running”, and definitely not Michael Bay’s “Armageddon”. Could explain the delay.

-Those Geico commercials about cavemen are being turned into a sitcom about three neanderthals battling prejudice as they live as “normal thirtysomethings in modern Atlanta”.

-A wrestler literally fell asleep on-air whilst out promoting “300”.

-Cinematographer John Mathieson has confirmed that the Wachowski Brothers approached him about doing “Speed Racer” but he turned it down due to it being a mostly green screen CG animated project.

-Looks like some more direct to video sequels planned for “The Naked Gun” and “Airplane”.

-Robert Downey Jr. talked a little about “Iron Man” at the recent premiere of “Zodiac”.

-“As far as I know, I’m not involved. My character is not involved in the third one” says Oded Fehr about starring in a third “Mummy” film.

-Actress Laurie Holden says that “Silent Hill” producers were “going forward with a sequel” but that original director Christophe Gans was currently undecided about returning.

-Brian Tyler (“Frailty,” “Timeline,” “The Hunted”) talks about his scoring duties on the upcoming fourth “Rambo” film.

-The first photos of the female cast members of the “Halloween” remake are out.
