The MPAA has officially given “Grindhouse” an R-Rating for strong graphic bloody violence and gore, pervasive language, some sexuality, nudity and drug use

– Comcast will premiere the final “Spider-Man 3” trailer online tomorrow at spiderman3oncomcast.com.

– Zooey Deschanel tells VH!.Com that “The Gospel According to Janis”, the upcoming Janis Joplin biopic of which she’s the star of, is “on hold” due to the difficulties of securing financing and rights.

– According to Rob Zombie’s MySpace blog, the first “Halloween” trailer will premiere with “Grindhouse”.

– Fox Atomic will debut the trailer for “28 Weeks Later” in theaters this Friday with “The Hills Have Eyes 2”, no word on when an online version will be available.

– The official site is online for the film version of Neil Gaiman’s romance fantasy “Stardust”.

– The “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” book will be 784 pages long, one thick book but not as long as the series heftiest tome – ‘Order of the Phoenix’ at 870 pages.

– An official synopsis is out for the upcoming “Hellboy” sequel.
