Director Paul W.S. Anderson confirms that he’s just started talking to Sony Pictures about doing a fourth “Resident Evil”, but for now its not moving forward fast as he doesn’t have an interesting story hook for it.

-Mark Wahlberg confirms that shooting on Darren Aronofsky’s “The Fighter” is finally set to get underway in October.

-“There’s interest from another distributor so negotiations have begun” says “Trick ‘R Treat” director Mike Dougherty to Moviehole about the status of the highly praised but still unreleased film.

-Porn starlet Tera Patrick says she is in talks with Quentin Tarantino for his remake of “Faster, Pussycat, Kill! Kill”.

-The official site for “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” has just been relaunched.

-Paramount is set to release the “Godfather” trilogy in Blu-ray format on September 23rd. The films have undergone a painstaking year-long restoration for optimum picture and audio quality.

-There’s two different takes here and here on the script for Guillermo del Toro’s pet project – an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s “At the Mountains of Madness”.

-Luke Goss has mentioned that the “Tekken” movie he stars in will end up being rated R.

-The first trailer for the upcoming remake of “Friday the 13th” will have its premiere at this year’s Comic Con in San Diego.
