A couple of new photos from the much-delayed Tom Cruise-led Hitler assassination flick “Valkyrie”.

– Linda Hamilton’s agent confirmed on Monday that the actress has not been approached in any way to be involved in the upcoming “Terminator Salvation”.

– David Ondaatje’s remake of the Alfred Hitchcock thriller “The Lodger” has been dumped from a theatrical to a direct-to-DVD release on February 10th 2009.

– A first look at “The Dark Knight” DVD releases planned for Germany is up at Batmans.de. The film will hit DVD & Blu-ray in the US on December 9th.

– Albert Torres has confirmed that they’re still trying to adapt Chuck Palahniuk’s “Survivor” into a workable screenplay.

– CBS is developing a new TV remake of the 60’s cop series “Hawaii Five-O” with “Criminal Minds” executive producer/showrunner Ed Bernero in charge. The main character will be Chris McGarrett, son of original lead Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord).

– Both “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” and “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” will get simultaneous IMAX releases next summer.

– The official UK site for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” has just been updated to include all the release dates of the movie worldwide.

– Screenwriter Justin Marks talks about how the film adaptations of the comic “Hack/Slash” and the video game “Street Fighter” are progressing.
