The Next “X-Men” Film Title Is… Supernova?

New listings in the latest issues of Production Weekly and My Entertainment World (via CBM) appear to reveal the working title for the next X-Men film along with some specific dates.

The site lists two films going into production in Montreal this year – “X-Men: The New Mutants” in late April, and “X-Men: Supernova” in mid-May. The former is Josh Boone’s upcoming film which has already been talked about.

The latter though is unclear, though is rumored to be seventh main storyline “X-Men” film and the title already has many speculating about it tackling the Dark Phoenix saga. At last report, Simon Kinberg has been at work on the sequel’s script since last summer.

In related news, there’s still no word on the standalone Gambit movie, but Lauren Shuler Donner has confirmed to press today (via Twitter) at the Television Critics Association press tour that Channing Tatum is still attached to the project.
