Filming seems to have moved (or is about to move) to Scotland for “The Dark Knight Rises”. BBC News reports that parachutists were in action at Cairngorm Gliding Club’s site at Feshie Bridge in the Scottish Highlands, while both a chartered helicopter and a black jet were spotted on the club’s airstrip.
Additionally, a former United States military Hercules C130 transport aircraft was spotted making flights from the Inverness Airport where we know ‘Knight’ filming is about to take place.
Local police have confirmed they’re assisting in traffic management “during private filming in the Badenoch and Strathspey area”. It’s also been confirmed that several road locations in Scotland are being used.
Meanwhile filming of the Wayne Manor exterior scenes have been taking place at Wollaton Hall in the UK and some uninteresting video has cropped up on Youtube showing Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway in an outdoor rain scene – albeit in rough focus and from a distance.
Finally Auto Blog reports that Christian Bale will be driving the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 in the film, replacing the other Lamborghini he trashed during “The Dark Knight”.
