“Vacation” and “Game Night” writer/directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have officially closed their deal to direct “The Flash” movie at Warner Bros. Pictures.
The pair entered negotiations in January to direct the film, titled “Flashpoint,” but during the press rounds in recent weeks they surprised with the news their deal wasn’t closed.
Now Collider reports that according to their sources, the deal is now done, with Daley sending out a tweet indicating as much. Ezra Miller reprises his role as The Flash from “Justice League” in the new film with the pair likely to tweak the script. Their last superhero project was “Spider-Man: Homecoming” on which they did the script (but didn’t direct).
No production schedule for The Flash film has yet been set.
