The BBC has officially commissioned a third series of its highly acclaimed psychological thriller “The Fall”. The show has been a big seller, with the rights sold to a whopping two hundred countries.
Set in Belfast, the story follows police detective Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) as she hunts down a serial killer named Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan) who is also a family man and grievance counsellor.
Season two scored an average of 3.3 million viewers on BBC Two in the U.K. and a 12.5% share of the audience, and both seasons are currently available in the United States on Netflix. The network has also released a very early teaser for the third series which is just a repeat of the final seconds of the second season.
