The CW Cancels “Life Sentence,” “Valor”

The CW has cancelled its new dramas “Life Sentence” and “Valor,” axing both shows after just one season.

The military-themed “Valor” debuted in the Fall but did not receive a back order, so its cancellation comes as little surprise. The first season averaged just a total of 958,000 viewers and a rating of 0.21.

The Lucy Hale-led “Life Sentence” fared even worse, averaging fewer than 500,000 total viewers along with a 0.15 demo rating. That show’s finale airs June 15th.

The CW has so far renewed eleven series for the 2018-2019 television season including “Supernatural,” “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” “Jane the Virgin,” “Black Lightning,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl,” “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “Arrow,” “Riverdale,” “The 100,” and “Dynasty.”
