One project that seems to have fallen through the cracks has been the remake of “The Crow”. Filmmaker F. Javier Gutierrez and actor Luke Evans have both been attached to the project since early 2013 and the original plan was to being production in early 2014.
That never happened, but the plan now seems to begin filming in Spring next year according to veteran producer Edward R. Pressman who appeared at the recent Abu Dhabi Film Festival.
Pressman calls the project “the anti-Spider-Man… It still has a big fan base even though it was so long ago. But the generation today doesn’t even know ‘The Crow.'”
At last report, original series creator James O’Barr will serve as a creative consultant on the project which aims to be faithful to the original comics.
