The “24” Movie To Shoot In April

After ages of talk, it looks like the film adaptation of the TV series “24” is finally locking down some dates.

Deadline reports that Mark Bomback (“The Wolverine,” “Shadow Divers”) is doing some quick tweaks of Billy Ray’s script and will turn it in before the end of the year.

Fox reportedly has five directors in mind for the film, a list that does NOT include the previously attached Tony Scott, and will lock them in very early next year.

The aim is to get film shooting underway in April to fit star Kiefer Sutherland’s availability.
