The 2017 Emmy Award Winners

The Television Academy has announced the winners of the 69th Emmy Awards at The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Stephen Colbert kicked off the ceremony with a musical opening with plenty of tips of the hat to the likes of “Westworld,” “Stranger Things,” “Game of Thrones” and more – even if those all got snubbed.

It was a fairly even spread with HBO’s “Big Little Lies” and Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale” proving the big winners with five awards each respectively, Hulu becoming the first streaming service to win the top honor. “Atlanta,” “Veep” and SNL also scored two each. Here is the full list of winners:
