The 2016 Golden Tomato Winners

Movie review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes has handed out the 2016 Golden Tomato winners, the round-up of the best-reviewed movies and television shows of last year.

In order to qualify, a film have at least 40 reviews and must have been released in theaters in 2016, while a TV show must have at least 20 reviews, including at least five reviews from “top critics.”

Winners this year include a strong variety of films with “Zootopia,” “Hunt For the Wilderpeople,” “Captain America: Civil War,” “Moonlight,” “Eye in the Sky,” “Arrival,” “Hacksaw Ridge,” “Hell or High Water” and more making the list:
