The 2016 Golden Globe Winners

This year’s Golden Globes winners have been announced by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association with “The Revenant” proving the big winner with three awards including Best Picture and Actor.

“The Martian” and “Steve Jobs” weren’t far behind, walking away with two awards each. On the TV front USA’s “Mr. Robot” and Amazon’s “Mozart in the Jungle” took two awards each including Best Series in their respective categories.

The rest of the night was split between single award winners with some very welcome surprises such as Brie Larson’s win for “Room” and Rachel Bloom’s win for “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”. There were some major shut outs though – nothing for “Carol,” “Spotlight,” “Mad Max: Fury Road” or “The Big Short”.
