“That’s So Raven” Gets A Sequel Series

Disney Channel and Raven-Symone are currently developing and casting a family sitcom that will continue the story of her character from the iconic Disney Channel series “That’s So Raven” which ran from 2003 to 2006.

Effectively following in the path of the likes of “Fuller House” and “Girl Meets World,” this will see Raven both executive produce and reprise her role of the fan-favorite character Raven Baxter. Scott Thomas and Jed Elinoff are also working on the currently untitled series.

In this take Raven is now a divorced mother to two pre-teen kids (a son and daughter), one of whom has inherited her ability to catch glimpses of the future.

Raven was the first African-American woman to have her name in a comedy series title, becoming a producer at 19 and the series scored NAACP Image Awards and a Emmy nomination.
