Jack Black has announced that a sequel to 2006’s “Tenacious D and The Pick of Destiny” will be hitting this October.
Black revealed the news to a crowd while performing at the Shaky Knees Music Festival on May 6th. He said: “I don’t know where you’ll be able to see it, but we have decided that it’s happening and it’s coming out.”
Last year Black revealed that Tenacious D’s next album will be the rock opera “Post-Apocalypto,” if it will be integrated into the film is unclear. ‘Pick’ grossed $14 million of its $20 million budget, but has acquired a cult following that has driven the film to make good money on home video.
