Veteran New Zealand actor Temuera Morrison (“Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones,” “Moana”) is in negotiations to join the cast of James Wan’s “Aquaman” film at Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment.
If he signs, Morrison would play the human father of Aquaman (Jason Momoa). Earlier this week came the news that Nicole Kidman is in negotiations to play Aquaman’s mother Atlanna in the film.
Others onboard include Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Dr. Vulko, Patrick Wilson as half-brother Orm (aka. Ocean Master), and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the villainous Black Manta.
Filming on the property is expected to begin in April.
