Temple Hill Eats Lauren Conrad’s “Candy”

Temple Hill Entertainment has picked up the screen rights to “L.A. Candy”, the debut novel of reality series star Lauren Conrad (TV’s “The Hills,” “Laguna Beach”) says Variety.

The novel tells the story of a 19-year-old who moves to Hollywood, quickly finds fame as a reality series star and then has to deal with the ramifications of living a fishbowl life.

Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey (“Twilight”) will produce and the project is planning to set a writer to adapt the script before it goes seeking financing.
