A24 has debuted the trailer for “Beginners” director Mike Mills’ new drama “20th Century Women”. The Santa Barbara-set ensemble piece is described as a heart-stirring celebration of the complexities of women and the connections we search for our whole lives. Along with the trailer comes the news that the film has been given a Christmas Day release date.
Annette Bening plays a determined single mother in her mid-50s who is raising her adolescent son (Lucas Jade Zumann) at a moment brimming with cultural change and rebellion.
