Teaser: Gyllenhaal, Reynolds In Sci-Fi “Life”

The first trailers, domestic and international, are out for Sony’s space-set sci-fi horror thriller “Life” starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds, Rebecca Ferguson and Hiroyuki Sanada.

Penned by “Deadpool” and “Zombieland” scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and directed by “Safe House” and “Child 44” helmer Daniel Espinosa, the story follows the six-member crew of the International Space Station who discovers the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars.

As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone expected. The movie is currently targeting a Memorial Day release on May 24th next year.
