Channing Tatum is set to produce and star in the upcoming film adaptation of Matthew Logelin’s 2011 memoir “Two Kisses for Maddy” at Sony Pictures.
The story follows high school sweethearts Matt and Liz Logelin who, after years of long-distance dating, finally settled together in Los Angeles and had it all – a perfect marriage, a gorgeous new home, and a baby girl on the way.
Just twenty-seven hours after giving birth though, Liz suffered a pulmonary embolism and died instantly. Though confronted with devastating grief and the responsibilities of a new and single father, Matt chose to keep moving forward and make a life for Maddy.
“Safe Haven” scribe Dana Stevens is attached to pen the screenplay while Peter Kiernan, Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey will produce.
