Tatum Keen For Tarantino’s “Hateful Eight”

“Magic Mike” and “21 Jump Street” star Channing Tatum has reportedly been linked to Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming snowbound western “The Hateful Eight”.

Tarantino held a live script read of the film in Hollywood earlier this year with various actors, many of whom are expected to reprise their roles in the screen version. Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Dern, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen and Kurt Russell are all said to already be onboard for the film.

However, table read participants James Parks, Amber Tamblyn, Walton Goggins, Denis Menochet, Zoe Bell and James Remar aren’t confirmed as yet. Jennifer Jason Leigh is set though and is believed to be taking on the role that Tamblyn played in the table read.

It’s thought Tatum’s role is also a major one and would see him taking over from one of the table read participants who isn’t showing up for the film. Tatum reportedly has some time in his schedule which would allow him to shoot the project when it goes into production early next year ahead of a release in late 2015.
