Tarantino’s “Hateful Eight” Begins Filming

Filming has gotten under way in Telluride, Colorado on Quentin Tarantino’s eighth feature film, the revenge Western “The Hateful Eight”.

The revenge Western has also added several new supporting cast members including Zoe Bell (“Death Proof”), Gene Jones (“The Sacrament”) and numerous “Django Unchained” cast members including James Parks, Dana Michelle Gourrier, Keith Jefferson, Lee Horsley, Craig Stark and Belinda Owino.

The newcomers join the already cast Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demian Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Channing Tatum and James Remar.

Set six or eight or twelve years after the Civil War, the story begins as a stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape and is set mostly within a haberdashery with eight travelers realising they may not make it to Red Rock after all.

Presented in glorious 70mm, “The Hateful Eight” will be released by TWC in 2015.
