Tarantino Wants Pacino For His New Film

Quentin Tarantino is reportedly seeking Al Pacino for a role in his upcoming film set in 1969 and dealing partly with the Manson Family murders.

Leonardo DiCaprio was locked in for a role in the project earlier this week and a report in Variety included Pacino’s name as a potential candidate.

The project is rumoured to be about a TV star and his stunt double who attempt to make the move to the big screen in the middle of the politically charged landscape of Hollywood in 1969 – a time when Hollywood’s Golden Age was washed away by the American New Wave.

Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise have also all been mentioned as possibilities for the project which aims to shoot later this year ahead of an August 2019 release.
