Syfy’s highly -anticipated new space thriller TV series “The Expanse” launches with a two-night premiere on Monday, December 14th and Tuesday, December 15th. The ten episode series will then premiere new episodes every Tuesday.
However, like many new series launches these days, the network is going online early and have posted the entirety of the pilot on a host of different online channels. All these channels are sadly geolocked to the United States so only people within the region can view it. If you are though, you can watch it via the Youtube embed below.
Budded the most ambitious series in the channel’s history, the story is set two centuries in the future when humanity has colonized the solar system. Thomas Jane and Steven Strait play a detective and rogue ship captain respectively who team up to investigate the case of a missing young woman. What they discover could expose the greatest conspiracy in human history.
Shohreh Aghdashloo, Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham, Florence Faivre, Jonathan Banks, Paulo Costanzo and Jay Hernandez also star. Terry McDonough (“Breaking Bad,” “Suits”) helmed the first two episodes from a script by “Children of Men” scribes Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby.
