First rumored back in October, now it’s official – Warner Horizon Television and DC Comics are teaming up for the Superman prequel series “Krypton” which “Man of Steel” scribe David S. Goyer has created.
The story takes place on the alien planet years before the Superman legend, when the House of El was shamed and ostracized. The story follows Kal-El’s grandfather as he brings hope and equality to Krypton.
Goyer and Ian Goldberg (“Once Upon a Time,” “FlashForward”) will pen the script and executive produce. It marks Goyer’s third show on the air after “Da Vinci’s Demons” and “Constantine”.
