Super Smash Bros. Hits Switch In 2018

As part of its latest Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo has announced that the “Super Smash Bros.” franchise is coming to Nintendo Switch this year. The title is one of more than a dozen upcoming games announced during the presentation with new titles being released for both the Nintendo Switch system and the Nintendo 3DS.

“Splatoon 2” will score a new single-player expansion titled ‘Octo Expansion’ launching this Summer and features eighty new missions, as well as new stories that shed new light on beloved characters.

Also on the way are the four-player co-op and multiplayer game “Mario Tennis Aces,” “Kirby Star Allies” which launches next week, the Square Enix RPG title “Octopath Traveler” which launches July 13th, and the newest “No More Heroes” title “Travis Strikes Again” later this year.

There’s also Switch versions of titles like “South Park: The Fractured But Whole” (April 24th), “Dark Souls: Remastered” (May 25th), Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker” (July 13th), “Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy” (July 10th), “Little Nightmares” (May 18th), “Okami HD” (Summer), and “Undertale” (TBD).

On 3DS there’s “WarioWare Gold,” “Detective Pikachu,” and “Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers” along with remakes of “Luigi’s Mansion,” and “Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey”.
