The villains have beat the heroes – at least in terms of Youtube hits.
Despite having a full two-day start, the recent Comic Con trailer for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has fallen behind its companion film “Suicide Squad” in Youtube hits just a week after the latter was published.
As of writing, the “Suicide Squad” trailer has pulled in 36.528 million views, whereas ‘Dawn of Justice’ has taken in 35.188 million views. Both have comparable reactions as well with around 307,000 likes each with 9,553 dislikes for ‘Dawn’ and 11,765 for ‘Squad’.
These numbers only include the official copies, and NOT the millions of views of the bootleg version of the ‘Squad’ trailer that was available online for almost two days.
That said, both are lagging behind both “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” which scored 58.2 million and 50.6 million views respectively in their first seven days.
