“Suicide Squad” Game Ditched For Batman

Warner Bros. Montreal has cancelled the long-rumored “Suicide Squad” video game, instead they will turn their focus to their other big project in the works – a new Batman game starring Damian Wayne according to Kotaku.

WB Montreal, which produced “Batman: Arkham Origins,” axed the ‘Squad’ co-op game earlier this month after being in development for at least two years and the studio itself went through a number of internal shake-ups. The project is said to have failed to impress Warners management.

The Damian Wayne game, rumored earlier this year, probably won’t be out for a while with the staffing shake-ups. Expect to hear first details on it sometime next year.
